It is happening all over Cherry Creek Vista. Homeowners with older roofs (especially wood shake) or those in certain zones are getting dropped by their insurance carriers.
Q: Does this mean I can't sell my house?
A: No, but it makes it harder. A buyer getting a mortgage needs insurance to close. If the house is "uninsurable" by standard carriers, the deal dies.
Q: What is the solution?
