South Metro Denver Real Estate Statistics & Trends
The statistics and market trends for Sept. 2017 in South Metro Denver are now in. Even though we had fewer listings - down 5.8% from this time last year - we put more homes Under Contract in Sept. - 4,589 vs 4,447 in 2016. The Days on the market have crept up and the median price is up 8.8% from this time last year.
My recent experience with buyers and sellers in the market is that homes are taking longer to go under contract. Where a home listed for under $400,000 most likely would have gone Under Contract within 3 days - after receiving multiple offers, it is taking much longer. That means that the market is a little bit better for buyers.
