Redfin reports that 1 out of every 4 home seller dropped their asking price for the month between mid August to mid Sept. We are experiencing more homes on the market and those staying on the market much longer than a few months ago.
It's still a strong sellers market, but the market is softening some for the sellers which can be an opening for buyers - they have more choices and may not have as many buyers that they are competing with.
