Denver homes frequently sold above asking price in 2017

You keep hearing about how competitive the Denver metro area real estate market is for buyers. We talk about homes receiving multiple offers the first weekend it's on the market. Now we have some statistics to back that up. According to Zillow, 39.5% of all Denver homes sold last year were sold for more than the asking price. Wow - that is approximately 4 out of every 10 homes sold and is frequently a result of bidding wars. To win a bidding war, you need a knowledgeable realtor that knows how best to position your offer, what incentives might be most attractive to a seller, what lender or type of loan might make your offer more attractive.
